Realme X and Realme X Lite confirmed to launch on May 15 in China

The past few weeks have seen a bunch of rumours and reports on the Realme X, which is tipped to be the company’s flagship offering in China. It was also rumoured that the company will announce the Realme X in China on May 15. This has now been confirmed by Realme on Weibo along with teasers of the launch of the Realme X.In addition to the launch of the Realme X, the company will also announce the Realme X Youth Edition, which may also go by the name Realme X Lite. This Lite version of the Realme X is supposedly none other than the Realme 3 Pro, which was launched in India a little while ago. Realme has also confirmed that the Realme X will go on sale online via JD.com, Suning, and TMall and pre-orders for the device has already begun. The Realme X has been spotted in a leak promo video and on a YouTube video in recent days. From what we can tell, the flagship will offer a notch-less display with a pop-up selfie camera. The gradient rear panel will get a vertical dual camera setup that is tipped to include a 48MP primary camera.The Realme X is also rumoured to sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display and with support for an in-display fingerprint sensor. The flagship will likely be powered by a Snapdragon 730 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM. Much like the Realme 3 Pro, the Realme X is also said to support VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
