Whitmore Road is reportedly shut from Seabridge Lane to Sutherland Drive. Inrix, the traffic data company, says police are at the scene and local diversions are in place – with the closure first reported at 9am. We have no further information at this stage. There are also reports of an accident on the A34 near Trentham Gardens, but we do not have confirmation of that at the moment. We’ll bring you an update on this story when one becomes available.
